I suspect only those with some knowledge of neuro-anatomy will appreciate the double meaning within my title for this image, which references both the beautifully striped (striated) sandstone in the foreground and the bizarre 'brain rock' - illuminated by the last of the sun's rays - that caps many of the rocky outcrops at White Pocket. (Fun fact: the striatum is a specific anatomical region of the brain concerned with cognitive and motor functions.)
