Bird's Nest

from £180.00

Limited Edition of 20

Location: Colorado, USA

Two things struck me as I surveyed this remarkable stand of aspen trees with my camera: first, the much lighter tones of the trunks of the two trees in the foreground (which gave me the idea for the photograph); and second, how much the overall composition that I framed up around these trees reminded me of the bird's nest. Not a bird's nest but the bird's nest - the nickname given to the National Stadium in Beijing, built to host the 2008 Olympic Games. If you don't see it too, Google it!
