The Herdsman

from £125.00

Open Edition

Location: Glen Etive, Scotland

Buachaille Etive Mòr (the great herdsman of Etive in Gaelic) stands guard at the head of Glen Etive and on the route to Glencoe. It is undoubtedly the most photographed mountain in Scotland, and rightly so as it never fails to impress, no matter how often one has seen it. Indeed, 'the shot' from the roadside as one heads into Glen Etive is a rite of passage for all aspiring landscape photographers. Of course, I have taken 'the shot' in the past but I prefer to explore the nearby river banks for alternative perspectives.
